Over time, as different parts of the financial markets move at different rates, the securities in your portfolio will inevitably drift (in other words, stray) from their target allocation weights.
Rebalancing is the process of bringing your portfolio allocations back towards a target by selling securities that have drifted above their target weights and buying securities that have drifted below their target weights.
We will only rebalance your portfolio when the allocation drift has exceeded a certain threshold.
