Depending on when you make a deposit to your account, Network Wealth requires up to 7 business days to process, hold, and invest your funds. This is a similar amount of time as it takes to transfer funds between external Canadian institutions.
The processing times for your investments can vary depending on the type of transaction:
Transaction | Service Level Objective (SLO) |
Create a new account + make your first deposit | 4-6 business days |
Initial investment on deposited funds | 1-2 business days after deposit complete, including the holding period * |
Make a deposit for an existing account | 1-2 business days |
Standard withdrawal from an account | 2-3 business days |
Withdraw all funds from an account | 3-5 business days ** |
* Please note that some securities are traded less frequently than daily, so there could be a delay in the purchase of some of your securities.
** Subject to portfolio liquidity. Please see "Liquidity" in portfolio descriptions.
The timelines for when your funds will clear and become available will depend on several factors including the type of transaction and the account you are depositing from. All deposits with Network Wealth take up to 7 business days to clear and must settle for 2-7 business days. You won't be able to withdraw or internally transfer a recent deposit until the end of this clearing period.
Deposited funds should be available for action the day after they come out of the 4 business day holding period. For example, if a Client made a deposit on a goal, but wanted to withdraw their funds and close that goal, they will need to wait until the deposited funds are out of the 4 business day holding period in order to withdraw their funds and close their goal.
When transferring registered funds from an external account/institution, transfer times can vary depending on the relinquishing institution.
