What is a Registered Retirement Income Fund (RRIF)?

A Registered Retirement Income Fund (RRIF) is an account that you can set up to receive scheduled payments from. Unlike an RRSP or retirement savings plans that are meant to accumulate funds, a RRIF is meant to decumulate and make payments to you. You can learn more about RRIFs here.
